Sometimes you may get odd junk emails, supposedly from us. Telling you to do something very quickly. It looks pretty genuine.
We feel you know if an email is really from us, but if you get one, please do the following in this order:
- Do not click anything on the email.
- Forward the email to report@phishing.gov.uk.
- Using your email software, Report as Junk, Spam or Phishing.
- Gmail has a good tool – open the email, click the three dots, Report Phishing.
