The Red Foundation was founded in 2017, when the Dachshund community came together to raise funds to rescue and spay an 18 month old female Dachshund named Red. Their mission is to protect the health and well-being of every dog in their care.

How it all started
Katy from The Red Foundation contacted directly via our Gmail account, about their website. It was sadly old looking, and needed a total transformation. They already had a new logo done, which was really lovely to see. New Branding colours etc. Plus the font used was one found on Google, so no need to purchase any fonts. They wanted their main site hosted, and then to have it redesigned.
It’s magic. Exactly what we wanted. Looks amazing.

Our Solution
This site had a bit of a challenge to it, as the theme and layout we were using demanded some additional resources. Usually we have the site migrated to our Charity Hosting which is free, clone it, redesign, then make live. Alas this time we had to migrate it to our other ‘normal’ hosting, where resources were higher, temporarily (such as PHP limits). We could then run everything needed. Once done and it was more design based, we shifted it back to the Charity hosting, and send Katy and Vicky videos on how to do things they would do regularly. These things included adding new Dogs to the site, editing content and so on.
The new design is a total transformation on what they had. With many ‘nods’ to their logo and other aspects of what they do. We are really very proud of this one.
