Something we get asked from time to time, specifically when asked about a new website is, “how do I learn to use my new website?”.

A lot of this depends on the type of website.  For example, if your website design is like ours, which is more “info based”, then you may want to edit text, or post Blog articles.  Learning to do this requires a little teaching of the Page Builder – we use WP Bakery for the most part.  We are not at all familar with other Page Builders like Elementor for example, which we find to be less straight forward.

We have tought many people, via Video Call and screen sharing, how to edit content with WP Bakery, and for the most part, people really enjoy it.  They find it easy to use, intuitive and with our knowledge over many years with it, fun actually as well!

But what if your website is an ecommerce design, and you want to of course add products, edit products, even delete them if you no longer sell something?  Again, quite simple.  This can also be using WP Bakery if you have product pages with designs and layouts.  But it might be very straight forward content like this Blog article.  But you still need to learn about the main Featured Image, or Gallery of images.  The Pricing of course if you plan to sell, rather than just show the products to view only.

Products of course often have variations, such as size and colour.  This may include edits to the pricing as well.  We can teach all this so learning to use a new website can be less stressy and worrying than you might think.

The short answer therefore,  if you are ‘learning to use a new website?’, is get in touch with us.  We can certainly help.  Firstly we would need to see your website, then perhaps look at the admin area, to see what plugins you are using.  No one knows how to use all plugins, including us, so having a view of that would of course be critical to ensure we can teach you.

Not sure of any of this, but still need help – STOP – get in touch and let’s take it step by step.
